Installing Clout Uploader
macOS
- Download the
.dmgfile - Open it with a double-click
- Drag Clout Uploader into the Applications folder
- Launch from Launchpad or the Applications folder
- If macOS warns about an unidentified developer — open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway
Windows
- Download
CloutUploader-X.X.X-setup.exe - Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
- After installation, launch Clout Uploader from the desktop or Start menu
- Important: run the app as administrator (right-click → "Run as administrator")
After launching, the Clout Uploader window will open with a sidebar navigation menu.
2 Connecting Your iPhone
Connect via USB
- Connect your iPhone to the computer with a USB cable
- Use an original Apple cable
- You can use a USB hub, but make sure it is powered (has its own power supply)
- On the iPhone, tap "Trust This Computer?" → tap Trust and enter your device passcode
- Make sure the iPhone is unlocked
- Open the Devices section in Clout Uploader's sidebar — your device should appear in the list
If the device doesn't appear:
- Try a different USB cable or USB port
- Windows Make sure 3uTools is installed
- Reconnect the cable and confirm trust again
Enable Developer Mode
Required for iOS 17+. Without Developer Mode, installing the app on iPhone is impossible.
- On the iPhone, open Settings
- Go to Privacy & Security
- Scroll down and find Developer Mode
- Toggle it on
- The iPhone will ask to restart — confirm
- After reboot, confirm enabling Developer Mode
On iOS 16 and earlier, this option may not be visible — it appears only after connecting to a computer with Xcode or iTunes installed.
Install the Companion App on iPhone
A companion app must be installed on the iPhone to allow Clout Uploader to control the device.
Automatic Installation
RecommendedRequires: paid Apple Developer Account ($99/year). Enroll →
This is the simplest method — everything is done in one click inside Clout Uploader.
- In the Devices section, find the Apple authorization area
- Enter your Apple ID (email) and password → click Sign In
- Apple will send a push notification with a 6-digit code — enter the code and click Verify
- If you didn't get a push — click Send SMS, select a number, and enter the SMS code
- After signing in, select the device and click Install
- Wait for completion (the progress bar will show stages, usually ~30 seconds)
Security: your password is used once for Apple authentication and is not stored. The connection goes directly to Apple servers via HTTPS. No data leaves your computer.
Free Apple ID does not support automatic installation — use the Xcode method below.
| Free Apple ID | Paid ($99/year) | |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic installation | Not available | One click |
| Validity | — | 1 year |
| Re-installation | — | Not needed for a year |
Xcode (macOS only)
AlternativeRequires: macOS with Xcode installed (free from App Store).
- In the Devices section, click Sign via Xcode Manually → Download Xcode Project
- Extract the downloaded ZIP archive
- Open
RodmanRunner.xcodeprojwith a double-click - In Xcode, open Settings → Accounts (
Cmd+,) and add your Apple ID - Select the RodmanRunner target → Signing & Capabilities tab → choose your Team
- Repeat for the RodmanRunnerUITests target
- Connect the iPhone and select it as the destination in the top bar
- Click Product → Build For → Testing (
Cmd+Shift+U) to compile and install the app on the device - Click Product → Test (
Cmd+U) to launch it — an Automation running banner appears on the iPhone. Once it does, you can stop the test in Xcode (Cmd+.)
With a free Apple ID, the signature is valid for 7 days. With a paid one — 1 year.
Trust the Developer Certificate
This step is required after any installation method. Without it, the app won't launch.
- On the iPhone, open Settings
- Go to General → VPN & Device Management
- Find the developer profile (contains your Apple ID or Team ID)
- Tap Trust
- Confirm
After this, the app on the iPhone will launch automatically when a thread starts — no need to open it manually.
3 License & Accounts
Activate Your License
Thread execution is blocked without an active license.
- Open License in the sidebar
- Enter your license key
- Click Activate
- After successful activation, your license info will be displayed: plan, expiration, limits
The license key is tied to a specific computer. To transfer it, click Deactivate on the current machine first.
Add TikTok Accounts
- Open Accounts in the sidebar
- Click Add List
- Enter a name for the list (e.g., "My Accounts")
- Enter accounts — one username per line:
username1
username2
username3
- Click Save
You can create multiple lists for different projects or account groups.
Configure a Template
A template defines what and how to publish. You need at least one template before starting a thread.
- Open Templates in the sidebar
- Create a new template or select an existing one

4 Running Your First Thread
Create & Start a Thread
A thread combines devices, accounts, and a template into a single task.
- Open Threads in the sidebar
- Click Add Configuration
- Fill in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Configuration name |
| Devices | Select one or more connected devices |
| Upload template | Select the template you created earlier |
| Account list | Select the account list |
- Configure additional settings (optional):
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Max upload time | Maximum time per post (minutes) |
| Cyclic upload | Infinite publishing loop |
| Auto schedule | Schedule-based execution — set region, posts per day, and time |
- Click Save
- Click Start to launch
After starting, the bot will automatically:
- Connect to the device
- Open TikTok
- Switch to the target account
- Perform warmup or upload (depending on the template)
- Move to the next account
Monitoring & Stopping
Monitoring
The Monitoring section shows:
- Status of each active thread
- Current action (warmup, upload, account switch)
- Progress across accounts
Logs
The Logs section provides detailed execution logs:
- Filter by level (INFO, WARNING, ERROR)
- Text search
- Auto-scroll
Stopping
To stop a thread — click Stop on the configuration card in the Threads section.
5 Tips & Troubleshooting
Telegram Notifications
Get notifications about thread starts and completions directly in Telegram:
- Open the Telegram section in the sidebar
- Create a bot via @BotFather and copy the token
- Get your Chat ID via @username_to_id_bot
- Paste the token and Chat ID → click Send Test Message to verify
- Enable notifications
Multiple Devices
Clout Uploader supports running multiple iPhones simultaneously:
- Connect all devices via USB
- Each must have the companion app installed (step 5) and certificate trusted (step 6)
- In the thread configuration, select multiple devices — each will work in parallel
Re-signing (Free Apple ID)
If you used a free Apple ID to install the companion app, the signature expires after 7 days. After that:
- Automatic installation — not available for free accounts
- Xcode — open the project and run Product → Test (steps from Method B)
We recommend using a paid Apple Developer Account ($99/year) — the signature is valid for 1 year, no re-installation needed.
Common Issues
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Device not showing in Devices | Reconnect the cable, confirm trust on iPhone. Make sure the device is unlocked |
| "Automation running" disappeared from iPhone screen | Normal behavior — the app will restart automatically |
| Thread stops with an error | Check the Logs section, make sure iPhone is connected and unlocked |
| TikTok asks for login | Make sure the account is logged into TikTok on the device before starting |
| App installation: "Unable to Verify App" | Connect iPhone to the internet and try opening the app again |
| macOS "App is damaged" or Gatekeeper warning | Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → click Open Anyway |
| macOS "Operation not permitted" | Grant Full Disk Access: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access |
| macOS Xcode signing error | Re-login Apple ID in Xcode Settings → Accounts, verify Team selection, try Product → Clean Build Folder |
| macOS Xcode: "Couldn't create workspace arena folder" | Delete DerivedData: run rm -rf ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData in Terminal, or open Xcode → Settings → Locations → click the arrow next to Derived Data path → delete the folder contents. Then rebuild. |
| macOS Xcode: "Failed Registering Bundle Identifier" | Free Apple ID cannot register this Bundle ID. Download the Xcode project from Clout Uploader (Devices page) — it contains a unique Bundle ID that works with free accounts. |
| Windows App doesn't detect iPhone | Install 3uTools to get iPhone USB drivers |
| Windows Error on launch | Run the app as administrator: right-click → Run as administrator |
| Windows Antivirus blocks the app | Add Clout Uploader to your antivirus exclusion list |
| Windows "VCRUNTIME140.dll not found" | Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft |
