# Connect iPhones over USB (https://clout.wtf/guide/connect-iphones/)



Clout Uploader drives iPhones over a USB cable — Wi-Fi is not a working alternative. This page takes a phone from "in the box" to "visible in the Devices panel", including fleets of several iPhones.

## Connect via USB

1. Connect your iPhone to the computer with a **USB cable**
   * Use an original Apple cable or an MFi-certified one
   * You can use a USB hub, but make sure it is **powered (has its own power supply)**
2. On the iPhone, tap **"Trust This Computer?"** → tap **Trust** and enter your device passcode
3. Make sure the iPhone is **unlocked**
4. Open the **Devices** section in Clout Uploader's sidebar — your device should appear in the list

> **Warning:** **If the device doesn't appear:**
>
> * Try a different USB cable or USB port
> * **Windows:** make sure iTunes from [apple.com](https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64) is installed (the standalone installer, not the Microsoft Store version)
> * Reconnect the cable and confirm trust again

## Enable Developer Mode

> **Note:** Required for iOS 17+. Without Developer Mode, installing Clout App on the iPhone is impossible.

1. On the iPhone, open **Settings**
2. Go to **Privacy & Security**
3. Scroll down and find **Developer Mode**
4. Toggle it on
5. The iPhone will ask to restart — confirm
6. After reboot, confirm enabling Developer Mode

> **Note:** On iOS 16 and earlier, this option may not be visible — it appears only after connecting to a computer with Xcode or iTunes installed.

## Running multiple iPhones

Clout Uploader supports running multiple iPhones simultaneously:

* Connect all devices via USB — from 6 iPhones use a **powered USB hub**, 6–8 devices per hub
* Each device must have [Clout App installed](https://clout.wtf/guide/install-clout-app/) and the certificate trusted
* In the thread configuration, select multiple devices — each works in parallel
